What to Expect on the Day of Tear Trough Treatment?
Before your procedure, you must stop taking anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen or naproxen, and blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin. This will help prevent bruising.
Your dermal filler procedure is typically relatively quick, taking anywhere from 15 minutes 30 minutes. Most patients experience some swelling after the procedure. Though most swelling will go down in the first 24 hours, you could still experience swelling for about a week after receiving your injections.
