What is a soft lift?
A soft lift is a customised rejuvenating treatment that consists of a combination of dermal fillers like Juvederm and Botox. Juvederm plumps up the skin in areas where collagen has been lost, and Botox helps to reduce deep lines and wrinkles that spoil your appearance.
Although Juvederm encourages the skin to produce more of its own collagen, a soft lift is not a permanent procedure. If you want to maintain your look, you will have to go for extra treatments every few months. However, many people feel that it is a preferable alternative to going under the knife. After all, if you end up missing your “character lines,” you’ll get them back in a few months.
What does a soft lift do?
If you were to look at all the benefits of Botox and all the advantages of Juvederm and add them together, that’s what a soft lift does.

What does it entail?
For most people, a soft lift procedure requires only one visit to the cosmetic doctor. If you take a preliminary consultation into account, it comes to two visits. On rare occasions, we may feel the need to stagger the treatments and will advise patients accordingly.
The treatment itself consists of a series of very strategically placed facial injections. Some of these will consist of Botox while others will be Juvederm. In sensitive areas, we numb the injection site first.
After the treatment, you simply continue with your regular daily routine. However, there may be some swelling and bruising during the first couple of days. If you are considering having a Soft Lift for a special occasion, you may want to leave a few days between your treatment and the occasion to ensure you’re looking at your all-new, rejuvenated best.
